Today’s attribute for God is El Shaddai, which means God Almighty. One of the scriptures:
Psalms 132: 2-5: He made a solemn promise to the Lord. He vowed to the Mighty One of Israel, I will not go home; I will not let myself rest.
I will not let my eyes sleep nor close my eyelids in slumber until I find a place to build a house for the Lord, a sanctuary for the Mighty One of Israel.
The Lord has most definitely showed himself mighty in our lives. Today my husband had an encounter with a man who was manipulative and using intimidation and degrading to make his point.
Not so long ago, my husband used these same tactics when he felt shame. Thank goodness he has changed his tactics and no longer needs to blame-shift. I’m so grateful the Lord is doing a great work in my husband and as a result in our marriage, as well.
I was able to help out in the office today and played dominoes with a friend. Not at work, of course.
Today was a full day. I feel rich in relationships with co workers, friends, my husband and El Shaddai.
My Pearl today is the joy of seeing the Lord’s hand at work in my husband and our relationship. Thank you El Shaddai.
